Simple tips for a busy life

  1. Proper nutrition: avoid sugars and processed foods.  Keep fresh foods and produce on hand.  Avoid boxed foods.
  2. Get regular exercise: keeping a routine will increase immunity and emotional well being.  As reported in The Journal of Applied Physiology, people who exercise have a reduced rate of getting infection.  I personally think one of the greatest benefits of exercising is stress control.  Research has shown illness is related to a stressful lifestyle and mindset.  Research also shows that stress can delay the production of antibodies and social stress can result in infection rates.
  3. Get enough sleep: Sleep is very important and our society, as a whole, needs more.  Lack of sleep is believed to cause obesity and anxiety.  One must try to get at least 8 hours of sleep.  To shed fat, gain muscle and have a positive, healthy mindset- get enough sleep!
