Now that the weather is getting warmer, skirts are getting shorter. This summer instead of worrying about whether you are going to be able to strip down and show off those gams get active now and get the best looking legs of your life.

Don’t stress how it will happen just follow these two moves from Kim Truman a former soccer player, dancer and Dallas based celeb trainer and she will help you sculpt powerful legs without the use of any equipment just your own body weight.

Single Leg Deadlift

You will feel and see the effect of this exercise in the quads, hamstrings and calves.

With arms relaxed along the side of the body stand up. Keep your feet close together or hip width apart. Stand on your left foot with your right foot behind you while slightly bending your knee so that your right lower leg is parallel to the floor.

Slowly lower your whole body as if you were a hinge. Once you have gone as far down to the floor as possible without strain pause and hold for 5-10 seconds. Return to start position and repeat 10-15 times per leg.

Don’t forget to keep your head up. Do not allow your back to round over or arch. Keep your upper body lifted.

Reverse Squat Jump

This move will carve your quads, inner and outer thighs, calves and glutes.

Get in low squat position. Then place your hands softly on back of your head, elbows are up and back. Hold in that position for 8-10 seconds, then push off through your feet and legs and jump into the air. Get back into your starting position and repeat for 10-12 reps. Try to jump higher with each rep to truly challenge yourself and get the best tone possible.
